A somewhat mysterious wine, proudly bearing the Rioja appellation, without a vintage, from the Marqués del Atrio winery. It is part of a promotional flood of cheap bottles from Spain, probably resulting from storage problems. Suddenly, many bottles with excellent contents appeared in Polish supermarkets at bargain prices.
How long will this good streak last? Market conditions change very quickly depending on the successive wars that break out. We know that the rich will not care anyway, the poor will be resettled, and the problem will be solved. In this bottle, the winemakers combined Tempranillo and Garnacha, which resulted in a calm, slightly watered-down content, but it could have been worse.
